A website for getting fuel on long drives.

This was a school assignment I made for a cheap gas finding service. It was targeted at truck drivers and cab drivers since they use a lot of gas and drive far distances. However, I chose a more laid-back image of a long-distance vehicle to promote feelings of feeling free on the road.
The logo was created to encourage the users to continuously strive to have their tanks full.

Persona

Microcopy was inspired by truck drivers

Personalization was intended to have the user feel more connected and in control

Features, like being able to see if gas stations provide more services like ATMs, were added after the truck drivers I interviewed said it's disappointing when they plan a drive expecting one to be around.

User validation came when later on in user testing all the participants easily navigated through the app and felt excited, knowing that things like their gas station preferences and other needs were taken into account in the design.
