Planning Your Trip:

-
The Center of Israel - Tel Aviv: Make sure you spend at least one weekend in the party city of TLV. Also this city is heaven for the LGBTQ communities. Going out days are Thurs, Friday and Sat. The music scene is mostly mainstream and techno (Block, Alpha, Beit Maariv, Breakfast). Some EDM DJs come and local shows are often in The Barbi.

The North of Israel (Golan area) and the Sea of Galilee: Maybe even check them out an ATV tour, see the wineries, hike the mountains, see Dan's river and Kayak the goshrim! And if you don’t have time to go all the way up to the Golan, make sure to at least check out the valleys in areas like Tel Mond/Haifa.

Haifa is a really amazing city and fairly cheap. A place that proves all races and religions can get along, and has great bars and food like Refaellos. I would recommend checking out the Bahai Gardens (check the hours before going) and the Elhir Druze restaurant while there. Lots of nature, beaches and treks all around.

The South is magical, especially if you love "Dubai" like dunes and views from high hills. Checking out a camel ride location, sleeping in a Beduin tent and feasting on their hummus and bread is what this location is about. What more do you need really? If you do plan to go check out if there are any stargazing events at the Mitzpe Ramon Crater. If you want a high-class dessert experience check out the Bereisheet Hotel in Mizpe! Located in a giant, star lit, crater.

Beaches are perfect in Israel! Places like HaBonim, Palmachim and other Kibbutz beaches are beautiful, homes to Turtle Nests and nature reserves.

Eilat is awesome for scuba diving! This southern city also has many stores, malls, kite surfing, activities, hikes, rock climbing areas and is the cheapest part of Israel (no VAT/sales tax). It is filled with deserts and is easy to get to Jordan from. However, there isn’t much to do there for more than 2-3 days.

Jerusalem has something for everyone. The Old City. The bars. The culture. The nature around. The history. It’s impossible to pinpoint which single factor makes this place so unique. But be prepared for some crowds, plenty of color, art, and sass - and make sure to spend at least 2 days here.

Dead Sea and Ein Gedi – The lowest place on earth! An amazing body healing sanctuary and energy cleanser. From climbing up toward the historic Masada fortress before sunrise, to chilling in black mud. It’s incredible how this water won’t let you stand or sink! However, it’s not as recommended to visit with open wounds (because of stinging) or when overly hot (because of the hight). Ein Gedi is right next to the Dead Sea and has the best spa in Israel, with natural hot baths and beautiful sights to see.

Keeping it cheap: Cabs do rip tourists off, so always ask them to put on the meter, if not leave.
Try to 'pregame', because bars are pricey. and save up on living expenses by staying with friends.

Keep In Mind:
Spend Thu Fri Sat in TLV for the nightlife.
Explore Jerusalem and the Dead Sea one after another because of the location proximity, also maybe from there continue down to Eilat.
Before traveling to Israel make sure you're prepared for the 'Yalla' ["get on with it!"] attitude (same in all the Middle East).
Check the local holidays to know when businesses shut down. Transportation and stores don’t work on the Sabbath (Friday night until Saturday one hour after sunset) in mostly Jewish areas. Also, it never hurts to take a quick look to the weather to make sure it's in your favour (even though Israel has amazing weather all year round).
Israel has really great scuba diving down south, I recommend Aqua Sport and eating after at Moshe's Beach.
